Key Ingredients
- Caribbean Sponge Extracts and Spicules - A microscopic needle-like structure found in sponges. Spicules provide a gentle micro-needling effect. Spicules generate skin cell turnover, improve hyperpigmentatin, reduce appearance of wrinkles, and improve the delivery of active ingredients.
- Chondrilla Nucula - This sponge has been found to contain strains of bacteria that contained antimicrobial properties. These properties have been shown to inhibit certain bacteria which are harmtuful to human including Staphyloccuccus aureus.
- Black-Ball Sponge, Orange “Elephant Ear” Sponge, & “Chicken-Liver” Sponge - These marine and Caribbean sponges will deliver anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antibacterial, antiviral, and medicinal benefits to the skin to calm, soothe, heal, and restore.
- Retinol Palmitate (Vitamin A) - Retinol palmitate helps tackle a long list of skincare needs like fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin tone, rough texture and dark spots. Using a retinol palmitate regularly also helps naturally boost collagen production to keep your skin firm and smooth. Vitamin A encourages cellular turnover in the skin.

What Are Sea Sponges?
- Sea sponges are animals, not plants nor corals.
- They have been around - that is in our oceans - for more than 600 million years.
- There are more than 8,000 known species of sea sponges in the world's oceans and more are identified each year.
- They make up an entire phylum of animals, Phylum Porifera.
- Sea sponges are some of the simplest of multi-cellular organisms. They do not have heads, eyes, brains, arms, legs, ears, muscles, nerves or organs.
- Even though they have no organs, sponges are made up of specialized cells that carry out all biological processes.
- Sea sponges have lots of pores to filter water in food and oxygen, and to push waste out (thus the name Porifera).
- Some new approaches are being used to introduce new antiviral agents from marine sources that have many promising therapeutic leads. This is because sponges are one of the richest sources of antiviral property compounds
